The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that believes voters make democracy work. We empower voters and defend democracy through advocacy, education, and litigation, at the local, state, and national levels.

OBSERVER CORPS

Observers are the eyes and ears of the League, attending most public government meetings in Geauga County. Meetings are summarized and published on our website in order to ensure transparency, track important local issues and to keep the public informed.

ADVOCACY

While the League is strictly nonpartisan regarding candidates and political parties, we do have positions on important issues that are developed from careful study and review.
